President Obama awards Sergeant First Class Leroy Arthur Petry, U.S. Army, the Medal of Honor for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. Sergeant First Class Leroy Arthur Petry claps in recognition of the sacrifice made by his fellow Army Rangers during the battle in 2008 that cost him his right hand.
